Restaurants are a good choice for a second date as you can get to know each other better, however don't try to over impress by booking a really expensive restaurant which you cant afford and take into consideration that maybe your date will want to pay if not for all the meal then half of it, and if it is a really expensive restaurant he will be embarrased if he cant afford to pay either.
